Strengthen your hips with the wall slide Print E-mail
The hip joint is the most common place of discomfort for those with arthritis, nagging aches can interupt sleep and sometimes severe pain.

A good way to counter this is keeping the joint active with the wall slide.

The wall slide will not only work the hip joint through the entire range of movement but it also strengthtens muscles around the hip joint such as the hip adductor muscles that are so often weakened due to being in a shortened state.

The wall slide is also perfect because it can be done at home without any equipment, this makes it an ideal way of supplementing your current Pilates classes.
